Air Blue is back. And it started with a watch we couldn’t stop looking at.

We were meeting with Bernhardt about doing something together with Deep Blue when they brought out the Captain.

Beautiful guilloché dials. A slim profile. A high-beat Miyota movement. And on one version, heat-blued hands that caught our attention immediately.

They showed it to us on leather. We kept imagining it on a NATO-style strap. Still elegant, just more relaxed. The kind of watch we’d put on in the morning without thinking about where the day might take us.

You know us for dive watches. The Captain was taking us somewhere different.

Then it clicked. Air Blue.

Here was a chance to bring the Air Blue line back, work with another American watch company, and offer our Deep Blue collectors something unexpected.

We’ve paired Bernhardt’s Captain with an Air Blue NUTO strap. It’s Deep Blue X Bernhardt. Bernhardt on the dial. Air Blue on the strap. The details that first drew us to the Captain, with a different feel on the wrist.
